I remember hearing a fair amount of info from friends to point me in the right direction
From what I know of it, I think that Wasteland is easier (or maybe just more logical) than the original Zelda. Wasteland does not have those random bombing issues...you won't know where to go at first, but you'll figure it out as you explore and talk to people. It's just too ancient and non-user friendly to devote the time to in this day and age.

My favorite part of FO3 is when I ask the mutant Fawlkes to trade gear and he says, "By all means...lllllllet's."

Cracks me up.

Charon, got him killed while fighting a hoard of super radiation ghouls (hardest part of the game by far for me, those ****ers wouldn't die)

Fawlkes never seems to take any damage. He just busts out his gatling laser and screams while mowing down everybody, stealing my XP.

But we digress.

Less than a month before my volume is reduced to next to nothing thanks to this.

I guess I'll post here that I'm pretty close to finishing Fallout 1. I did well on my own in the beginning, fixed the water chip etc., but eventually I had some long gaps in playing time and forgot what I was supposed to be doing, and so I've been using walkthroughs. I also had made a poor character (actually a pre-made character) and attributed points very poorly, so guides helped me get back on track.

Does Fallout 2 give you more direction?

Best place to preorder the special edition of this? I'm leaning towards Walmart as I have a $20 GC there and the Caravan pack sounds useful.

I recent JUST picked up Fallout 3: GOTY Edition.

I'm taking my time and enjoying this game. I'm like level 5, just checking things out. It's pretty intense. I haven't touched the DLC yet, but it's installed on my HD.

Probably should finish up this one before touching New Vegas?

New Vegas is a completely separate game, not a continuation of FO3.

I bought FO3 GOTY because I heard a lot of good things about it. The game is fun, lots of reading, which I ended up skipping, but it got really repetitive. I put it on Very Easy just so I could fly through the game as fast as possible. I think after I finish Red Dead Redemption I am going to try and get back into FO3. It's pretty much the only game I have that I didn't finish or am very close to finishing.

Last level on Demon's Souls can go F itself.

I thought that I'd get New Vegas, but I don't know if I will now. I don't see it being much different from FO3 as far as the structure of the game. I understand there is going to be new weapons and that the system is refined, but it will probably still involve tons of reading and repetition as far as going back and forth dividing up your inventory.

dont forget to active the dlc's (you should have broadcasts and quests added as soon as you leave vault 101)

FO3 is pretty good, i normally despice shooter games but I really enjoy FO3 cause of the rpg in it, same way as i absolutely love borderlands (i kinda like borderlands more then FO though)

I absolutely HATE the fact that they didn't make a ragged version of LV though, that would be epic. I also wouldn't mind a European fallout haha, I mean. Fallout: Paris with complete French dubbing would be so awesome, or something like that.

DLCs I've done in FO3 suck balls though, operation anchorage, the pitt and mothership zetha all sucked hard, especially the alien one, yuk. Borderlands really pwns FO3 in their DLC's

Yah, I have them up. I'm working on finishing up some quest chains like "Those!" (I'm doing the good karma thing and gonna find that bastard child a home) and I have some chick named Cherry who want to go to Rivet City. Trying to figure out how to get there still.

The best DLC are the two you didn't get: Broken Steel and Point Lookout.

Thanks for reminding me, just preordered from Amazon. The free content isn't too great (but really, most of it sounds like **** that will be worthless in a few hours of gameplay), but they are giving me a $10 credit for a future game purchase. Plus, I have Amazon Prime, so free release date shipping!

Yeah, very excited for this and I pretty much never await game releases.

Actually been replaying F3 with broken steel and will probably try the rest of the DLC
