Hindustan Update
Year is 1572. I have all the Hindustan cores (got the last ones from Persia in 1548). I'm now in the western tech group but still behind in techs. You need a admin 7 ruler to modernize the military and my Heir was 7/6/8 but of course he died (****ing trained medicus my ass). Thing that sucks is that the asian starting units are very slightly better then the Indian starting units so I hired almost all my army in the few asian provinces I had in the east. Of course when I finally got a better unit from my land tech (tech 15!) it only upgrades the indian units. So 80% of my army is still beginning asian units.
Now for the main event. lol Europe:
Scotland is an unlikely world power. Their russian holdings are growing. They have colonies in Canada, Western Africa, and the Caribbean. They are also leading a personal union with Sweden.
Never thought I would see the label Savoyard Africa on the map. Unfortunately it didn't last long, Navarra took Savoy's second province on the Ivory Coast. Speaking of Navarra they have colonies in Western Africa, the Caribbean, and the southern US. Also speaking of Navarra WTF are they doing alive?! Aragon gonna Castille I guess.
Castille is still in the sad state of affairs as last time but is now also the lesser partner in a personal union with Hesse.
France as been eaten away. Originally they went to war with Bohemia who made them release a few states. Then Nevers & Bar declared war on France and kicked its ass (current state of affairs).
Hansa is expanding. They have territory in Norway, as well as own Iceland. They have begun colonizing the east coast of the US.
Prussia also has territory in Norway as well as a colony on the Ivory Coast.
Austria continues to grow but has slowed down since losingthe HRE to Bohemia.
Portugal has land all over. Morocco, Caribbean, east coast of North America, west coast of South America but the Incans, colonies on both the west and east coasts of Africa.
Some unusual colonizers around. Sweden inexplictably owns the Canaries as well as a colony in west Africa. Aquileia owns Cape Verde. Savoy has a colony in Brazil to go along with its African colonies. Aragon, Tyrone, and Naples all have colonies in Brazil.
Morea and Epirus are both alive and well in the Balkans.
As of yet no Europeans have been sighted further east of the Ottomans.

Started an Austria game, up to 1417 now:
I got an early mission to take 3 provinces from Milan, hence my southern expansion. Became HRE emperor, now I'm going around kicking ass and taking names. Milan just DOWed me wanting their cores back, so I bitchslapped them down and made them release Siena and Tuscany for good measure for HRE authoritahhhh so I could institute reichsfluegen or something. I just got Imperial Ban CB on four different countries (France, Teutonic, Novgorod, and Poland) - is that the one that gives me instant corezzz?
I got an Imperial Liberation CB against Denmark earlier and took two of their provinces, liberating Holstein in the process and getting a core on whatever random province is to the north of it. I also got Imperial Liberation against Bavaria when they annexed Augsburg so I stole one of their provinces for fun. If this keeps up I can see my empire becoming difficult to manage, having random core provinces all over the borders of the HRE.
I have like 90% cultural tradition, what kind of advisor should I get? Already have a 6 star master of mint, then some 6 star army dude that increases my discipline by 12% and a 5 star army dude that increases my forcelimits by 33%. I'm pretty sure I can get rid of the forcelimits guy seeing as how the HRE has made my land forcelimit 233 (lol).
