I guess what I really meant was 1 AI bot with 2 non-throw 500mmrs and 2 throw 500mmrs vs1 5k player and 4 nonthrow 500mrmrs. Maybe even better question is, what is the maximum mmr it could carry a thrower and not lose mmr?

Watching OpenAI matchup on twitch. Bots are playing noobs from audience first. They tower dived to get a kill early and used sentry ward to tank tower hits, damn that's nuts.

Bots keep chatting saying how much they estimate their win probability to be. It was 80% before the game started, lol, such BM.

They also always killed the ranged barracks first. I saw it do some genius stuff with ridiculous dives. It ran mid tidehunter with stout shield build which destroyed heavily. I think the small hero pool probably makes it a lot easier to draft and not get cheesed by ai bugs etc. Still a lot of interesting stuff.

It's much less of a commitment because it doesn't takes as long as melee to destroy and if you have to leave before you get it you haven't wasted your time. However, I would think that if you do certainly have the time, which you often don't, taking down the melee barracks is better.

Not sure why always killing ranged first would be better. Maybe they can't calculate something so complicated as being able to take down melee without risk of a bad fight w buybacks etc?

there was at least one time that there was a 100% chance they take both rax and still all 5 focused on ranged first. seems weird, but i will not question the bot overlords and will always focus ranged first now

IIRC from the interviews with the devs for openai, they actually do simulations where they present/test two midgame options and then simulate millions of times. Presumably this means they have stopped many different games where the choice was presented, ranged or melee, and ranged won over millions of simulations. Unsure if that is exactly true but that was the inference from the interview.

Does anyone here follow the hat market closely? Pretty sure I still have 2 of the Crimson Witness 2017 from last year's TI. I just checked the price and it looks like it keeps going up in value... should I keep HODLing? I don't even play Dota anymore but I guess I could waste the $ on Artifact when it comes out since I'm not sure if there is any way to get legit real $ for steam items without getting scammed

but i would still run a decent risk of someone reversing the paypal charge and then I'd be SOL right?
