I have to say, the final day of the Shanghai Major was run pretty much perfectly. If only the entire Major was done this way. Massive props to the new production team. No idea how they managed to fix KeyTVs mismanagement. The ending was a little sudden but whatever, no complaints there.
shutdown sumail early and beat eg was the strategy this tournament it seemed. he wasn't great at coming back like we have seen in the past. i dunno if sumail can play carry but it'd be interesting to see RTZ on mid.
wow, did Super really retire? that's sad, I really like him as a player... kind of like FATA, very solid mid. also Hao might retire too, only 25, and still quite a good player imo.
Damn the hotel staff must be a bunch of morons. The key to ROTK's Maserati is missing as well. Lolololol.
Anyway Super should have been out long ago. He's not keeping up with the times imo and he's nowhere near a tier 1 mid. Shiki should be kicked out of CDEC as well.
The amount of scapegoating through both rightful blame (though a bit unfair as theyre often expecting TI level play from their 3k teammates) as well as faulty logic and results oriented hindsight can be pretty intense. I recommend finding people to play with instead of depending solely on the matchmaking system, just 2 friends will do as you can just (hypocritically) blame the other two (Peruvian/Russian) players in your team for everything that goes wrong. And don't expect people to become friendlier as the game progresses, just mute them instead. Chances you'll miss out on relevant communication are slim.
You do occasionally run into a nice communicative, constructive team of randoms though which can be very fun (even if you lose).
to whoever was laughing at me for suggesting many chinese dota players were getting 6 figure contracts, sylar and MMY both had 150k last year (no streaming included), and now everyone is saying that it's supposed to be too little for sylar.
