Anyone have any idea why my in game mic is ridiculously quiet? It works fine in every other game/program, but, ever since a patch a few months ago, it hasn't worked in DOTA2 for some reason.

Apparently the sound comes through but at very low volume. It's usually not that big of a deal because I am usually playing with friends on ventrilo, but when we are playing with pugs I basically have to yell and hope they hear me or ask my friends to convey a message for me. It's pretty annoying.

I've played around with the sound settings a lot but nothing seems to help. Is this a known issue?

pug is pick up game. That may be what you meant but I would guess you meant pubs.

Not sure what's causing it, but I'm sure you can find out through google as it seems to be a very common problem.

'pug' and 'pub' are interchangeable internet slang for pick-up/public games and the people that play therein.

And yes, I've googled this problem. Didn't find a solution.

I've always been wondering about this. Does anyone know how much a decent top level team like Skane, mousesports or Team Empire get in sponsorships? Do they get a monthly pay?

Why on earth would anyone sponsor a team anyway? I don't see what they get out of it.

Talked to ZeroGravity, the owner of NaVi, at the International ( Awesome guy btw just chilled and ate carrots and talked about Australia). NaVi players get paid a salary based on their performances. If they are doing really good, they get like 2k USD a month. If they are doing bad, they can get as low as 400 USD a month. However, NaVi get like 25k every 2 months from SteelSeries and other sponsors. That money then must be used to pay players, staff and LAN trips etc. At the end of the 2 months, if any of the 25k is still in sponsorship account, the sponsors only go up to 25k. So they only give a certain amount. If you don't use the money, you lose it pretty much. Also, CLG.LOL players get 6k a month in salary.

Also, Eblade is still bad on anything other than PL/Morphling.

I would try looking at this http://community.skype.com/t5/Mac/Wh...t/true#U112526 . I had a problem that was related to this when my itunes would drop down to a very low %. I eventually made it "do nothing" so it now works as I wanted it to. Your problem is different though so that may be completely different.

There is no hero with permanent invis. The game probably glitched out and never showed the hero. Although in Dota 1 you could use Mirana/potm ult with a Riki on your team. During the ult he could attack you without revealing himself. I am not sure if that carried over into dota 2.

Sound control panel, communications, turn off the setting where it says automatically lower volume or something or other. I have no idea if this will fix your problem but it's a good thing to do, and might help.

I wonder if IceFrog will change it to be primary big stat item for your hero + ghost scepter, instead of agi only Eaglehorn. Actually I'm pretty surprised it wasn't released like that.

The sound control panel thing is what I suggested also. Just a different way of getting there.

The reason eblade is not adjusted to the main attribute is because balancing of the game would be ridiculous. Most int heroes would be on a whole another level with an int eblade. The reason why an agi eblade works is because practically only Morph gets any use out of it.

Eblade Lion/Lina,

Silencer and OD would be cool too, though they don't really have the nukes to make use of the e-blade.

Obviously razer gets something out of sponsoring a team when they use razer tags but I'm talking about the association itself. I don't see what the Orange organization would get out of sponsoring a team.
