seriously why can't they restrict servers by IP? do they not know how unpleasant it makes the game for a lot of people

i signed up for a free invite from steam back in april and haven't heard anything, so, how can i play this game?

i feel like i'm the only one who isn't able to play at this point.

there are some shady looking websites promising me a free key, but i'm pretty skeptical.

anyone know the best method for getting a key at this point that doesn't require $$$?

Only really bought keys to trade beta keys, probably quite popular judging by how many people has rare couriers in game and point boosts

IMO just keep having fun whatever you do. There's a ton of threads on reddit of people posting the same as you (LoL -> DotA 2), maybe search reddit.com/r/dota2.

Wow. This game seems to be a lot more dynamic than LOL, but it is very difficult to get used to.

I really need to figure out how to buy items faster.

quickbuy slot is your friend!

Unless you mean buying/finding items in general, which will just come with exposure.

The quickbuy slot is the nuts though. I have my quickbuy trigger on Mouse 4 for those "OH **** GONNA DIE" moments where you want to spend all your unreliable gold.

mine is on mouse 5, which is in some stupid spot that's a pain to click on but at least it's there.

I suggest using the item menu that shows everything on only 2 pages, rather than gigantic icons one where you have to tab between columns.

I have quick buy on my 5 key. I use it ALL the time, it's so useful.

The key, for me, is to use shift-click on the items to place them in my quick buy, rather than dragging.

eg vs M5 (new m5 who do not suck) live now. Jeyo from coL decided to finally admit he was standin.007 . It should not be a surprise to anyone since Tobi said it was him a couple of times in the past.

I did not even know you could drag. There's a tooltip that tells you to use shift-click, I figured it was the only option.

Despite having so much time on wc3 dota, I actually have autoattack off for dota 2.
