Mana regen seems super friendly for such a low level.

This is not so much fun to watch. I'd much rather watch sc2 I think. I guess watching a pve stream is just not that interesting to me.

wizards dont have mana, they have arcane power.

Its light mana, but smaller pool and regens much faster.

I suppose I can see the necessity if you are using skills entirely to kill stuff as seems to be the case. Early on in d2 you wouldn't really rely on skills that much.

That survive the skeleton jar thing was pretty sick though.

Yea I know, the barb one seemed to stay relatively constant. At least it didn't refresh as fast.

My plan to go wizard first has only been encouraged. That nova spell seems pretty damn strong.

barb has a fury system, it starts empty and the more you bash skulls in or take damage it builds up for you to use bigger skills or whatever.

If you miss (lol) or do nothing it depletes.

I was thinking about going barb first but dayummm

I don't even think I'm gonna buy this game

If I was watching one of these streams over somebody's shoulder and they offered to let me play, I don't think I'd even want to

It's just way too dumbed-down, and without any form of character customization I just don't see what's left to be enjoyed in this game

If someone who had never played D2 before made a stream of him playing Diablo 2, do you think you would get a good idea what the game is actually like to play? Yeah sure d3 doesn't seem to be the "improved D2" many were hoping for, but it's kinda ridiculous at this point to say anything about how good the game will be. And as said already, D2 didn't really have working stat system either, for 95% builds it was just enough strenght for eq, enough dex for eq (and possibly max block) and rest to vita.

I don't like the trend of going towards more casual gaming, tho.

so any guesses how long until the game is out?

How long was SC2 in beta before it was released? Are there any big reasons why the beta for D3 and SC2 should be much different in duration?

I'm not sure if it's the most recent info, but maybe a month ago they said they plan on releasing this year unless some big issues come up in beta testing.

Got my avatar already prepared and installed Diablo II once again

Witchdocta mana (or w/e they call it) regens crazy fast

Dont think I've seen him take a single hit in ~15min or so... Dont think ive even seen 1 of his mobs die.

Plague of frogs is cool though, kinda a bio charged bolt.
