just cleared this rift in ~45 seconds, the rg was out before half of that map was cleared. i was shooting like 70% with rov for elite kills, first 4 or so shots were 1 shot kills omg... prob could solo a 60 if maps like that existed

I've tried the nats build but I really miss a proper onehander, so I just end up not doing enough damage and running out of hatred.

yeah i meant that like 7/10 shots were killing elites it seemed

its really fast and pretty fun, i recommend it for speed/t6. with convention of elements phys cycle up my crits are ~3.9b lol. wondering if i can squeeze in soj for hexing and look for some 5b ones =o but that might be too much hatred regen to give up

Thanks for the link to your characters - I like seeing people's setups to get ideas of what to try. Usually I start by seeing some build on the interwebs, but inevitably I find ways to change it over and over until it looks pretty different from the original .

I got lucky and found a serpent sparker probably within 2 hours of hitting 70, and this weekend I got all of Tal's set. So I've been trying that out, and granted it's pretty good. However, I have an ancient shard of hate @ 3k dps, so I've been trying that out as well. At some point I need to stop running in groups so that I can actually compare the two, solo, to see which is clearing things faster.

Also, I had been using the ice armor ring & the new elemental dmg ring, but I switched to focus+restraint and my damage is through the roof. Less survivability, for sure, but noticeably better damage, and that's with subpar affixes on the Focus+Restraint rings (I think I have vit on both lol).

I went the other way around with this one. I started off using homebrew builds for progression, and tweak them as I see fit. Finally I thought I invented a build a liked... and then I realized it was the exact same talsere's build that someone else posted and I had looked at a couple days ago. So I credited him for it in the video.

nice thats pretty sick. looked like the 2nd one he was still mid animation, that kinda stuff annoys me the most and 150 ping by default im sure doesnt help

was tryin out some grs with nats, did a bad 46 pretty easily, bottom of dh lb is 48 so i tried about 12 48/49s, 7 had winged assassins and anarchs from the start on big maps, 2 had them on later floors, the best mob type was on a super narrow map with doors which was pretty much the opposite of what youd want for nats so it was a little frustrating.

Maybe it's just the power of suggestion, but had a couple GRs that were a huge struggle due to needing to constantly travel south. I wear Zeis, so I want to hit things at a distance, and I just can't tell wear to cast things until they get really close...too close.

Dumb question(s) about this wizard (for anyone to answer): I see a bunch of +fire% on the wizard's gear, but the only reference to fire I can find is the +fire dmg on the weapon.

So, does the elemental damage apply to the damage range on the weapon? I always assumed that it only applied to skills, but this is a big game changer for me if my overall damage is boosted should I match +ele damage to a weapon affix.

Or is it just that the wizard logged out after changing some skills and coincidentally has no fire skills?
