Tears are worth so little that they are kinda like a penny stock. They have the most potential % increase. Might take a while to appreciate though.

Can someone quickly explain how the market price works for commodities?

For Brimstone, I'm seeing 148,500 price per unit and last 10 trades at 144,350.

I can't figure out how it works to price my brimstones accurately to get a quick sale, but not too low that I'm giving them away.

wow, that's a lot. I remember brimstones didn't even sell for 30k before. Maybe 150k now is only worth 30k then though.

So the current guy is 148,500? or whatever the current price per unit is?

Price per unit was 149,800, I had mine in at 149,000 and it still didn't sell. Does that mean there were a lot more people below mine that it still has to get through? But then why isn't the price per unit lower?

Yep the buyers don't look at last 10 trades cause it could take forever to get back down to that, they usually wan't it right away.

Commodities dont show the exact current price. Its just an estimate which is why you pretty much always get a refund since you are paying the estimate but the game buys the cheapest ones available and refunds you the difference.

I think before the commodity auction house went down you could spam refresh and get the actual current price but they took that away since it was using up so much of their server.

In the first few days of the game, I would sit in the AH on the ruby page (forget what quality ruby though) and keep refreshing, trying to buy up all the underpriced ones, only to immediately resell them.

lol @ rubies, they must be so worthless now.

Yeah I just can't get a feel for it. I had a brimstone at 149k and it didn't get bought until the price per unit went back to 150k, where I have 2 more sitting that didn't get sold at 150k.

Now I have one at 149,750, price went up to 149,900, down to 149,500 and now back over 149,750 and it still hasn't sold. Current price per unit is 149,860, last 10 is 147,449.

So I don't know.

EDIT: Hmm..last 10 average is now at 131,145 so it seems like someone is trying to bring the price down? If the last 10 average went down that low then someone or a few people are selling way low, at least those 10. I would expect it to pop back up once all of them get bought.

I'll do 2p2ers for the next 10-15 minutes...send me a friend request if you would like sages boots or any recipe crafted. Info was a few pages back.

Update on the 20 I crafted: So I spent 30 mil on the recipe (I think price has gone up since then), I was down to 17 mil, and I guess in those 20 crafts I was able to make 60 mil cause I'm now back at 77 with like 7 boots to sell. Lollllll....even with the higher price of brimstones, it's easier to make money than on gloves.
