In D1 you basically got to the point you could do them solo because of flakes who would just sit at the start to get the XP reward and loot at the end. The spawning so far from the action without a hud to get you there is a new level of awful in D2.

If using force lightning is weird, I don’t want to be normal.

What is this level 15 chest piece I got from an entrance that has ten armor but maxed out mobility? Is that normal? Should I care about it?

You can "infuse" it with another chest piece to bring it's power level up to a useful level. I imagine it's part of the fancy-looking Eververse sets.

I want to do the raid too and trying to gear up for release

I'm currently 220 item level does anybody have tips for gearing up faster?

Do the Powerful Gear activities every week. Farm the public events. Go cash in engrams as soon as you get them. The more stuff you do; public events, adventures, chests, etc. the more chances you have for RNJesus to be nice to you.

Oh, start looking for +5 modifiers from the weapon guy, you should start getting all your non-exotic armor +5.

I went from 220-230 pretty quickly. The guides say I need 260-280 for the raid so hopefully I can get there in the next couple days.

The Powerful Gear stuff resets every Tuesday. If you aren't going to get there week one there is no point not doing them.

Bungie is patching this week which should help with empty zones. I either get the world to myself or only 3-4 other players. Then every once in a while everything clicks and there will be 7 or 8 people at a public event.
