I think they estimated the game should take most people around 50~ hours I think. The catacombs is pretty tough too though. Those pinwheels ****ing suck iyam

I imagine if I was any good at this game I wouldn't have spent like 3 hours raging at Stray Demon back in Undead Asylum.

btw, seems like lots of you are going 2-handed with weapons - you can't block when you do that, right? There are so many places in the game where I feel like I'd be dead without blocking (I spent awhile trying to kill the last two headless demons at the bottom of Sen's Fortress last night, they have huge sweeping attacks that I don't even know if you can roll out of), idk how you can do that.

PC release confirmed for 25 April. Namco says it's going to have high-res textures, which I was hoping for but not expecting. Hope it genuinely looks a lot better.

I was watching a PS3 stream of it and it looks graphically comparable to Demon Souls, at least for the small amount I saw. Hopefully the PC version gets the right treatment, though I'm sure Durante is ready to step up and show From how it's done again.

Hm. Did everything I think there is to do in Catacombs, discovered Tomb of the Giants past it, have been doing well at not getting jumped by skeletons (can see their eyes in the dark, and I'm moving around slowly) but then one of the ****ers knocked me off a ledge to the bottom and I got pretty lost. Found an illusory wall, went through, ran into two human NPCs that kicked my ass pretty good. Not entirely sure what's going on here, but it is intriguing and I intend to go back and find out more!

eta: well, Vince and Nico are dead now.

I think the dlc is very much worth it if you like the game and want more out of it. But if you just want to get the game under your belt for future reference then it's probably not necessary.

I have the DLC and haven't even played it yet. I got on one of my earlier new games and just kinda fizzled out before I got to it.

Wouldnt the best be to do spoilers for all in game related discussion?

Just make a short for what area and the ones that has been there will know the short and can answer the question.

as in A.L(Anor Londo) and a veiled question and the the real question in the spoiler...
