you can watch it too. go you watch > my matches and download the demo. I think the console command to bring up playback controls is something like demoui2 once you're in the demo.
went 23-5 in my first competitive match but i just kind of followed teammates around and was a bit lost, players were much worse than i expected maybe i'll try to get with you 2p2 bros eventually. i don't know a lot of the maps since i've been playing demo/DM/arms race exclusively
I cannot seem to spray effectively in CS GO like in 1.6 and source. Am I doing something wrong?
you must be used to source. source was made to be more of an 'arcade shooter' like CoD and such (prob why all the 1.6 players hated it ). comparatively huge hitboxes and less movement penalty on accuracy, etc. afaik, 1.6 and csgo should play fairly similar.
lol it feels weird giving advice because I'm total garbage. But yeah, you should dm on public servers. What I meant in my post is that you can find pubic servers that "simulate" matchmaking matches. So you can get an idea of how to play certain spots in certain maps. Just search "competitive" when the list of servers shows up and you can choose the server that has the map you want to play.
Watching pro matches on youtube can help as well I guess. Doesn't help me much though. Just search "ninjas in pajamas", "get_right", "cloud9", "n0thing", and good stuff will come up
This video always makes me wanna play CSGO, even though it's source. Still not tired of it lol
Idk the exact $$$...4.4k or so on T. Do you guys go galil + full set or AK + 2 nades? I would give up the AK for two more nades, not sure if that's right though. I know it depends on roles as well, but the guys I play with don't generally have roles
TBH it also kinda depends what you supposed you're playing against, ie do the CTs have full armor, nades & all or are they eco. In general if I have above 4k I'll go for the AK and try to get armor + whatever's left.
Also worth noting that armor+helmet is very important in T-side, moreso than on CT-side. The short story is that the CTs' M4 needs 2 bullets in the head to make a headshot kill vs. a helmet, whereas the AK does it in one bullet regardless of helmet or not. Thus you should always try to grab a armor+helmet whenever you get the chance in T side.
i go AK/armor/smoke+he all day there. but wtf do i know
in pro matches, T side force spots you usually see them go like 4 guys forcing rifle/armor/maybe 1 nade and 1 guy goes pistol/armor + full nades for the take.
