If they used a normal map veto process it would be fine. Forcing teams to play maps they don't even play doesn't exactly make for high level games.

Not very interesting for me to watch a team who doesn't even play a particular map get smashed by one of the best teams in the world on that map.

attention bettors, it appears that a few high rollers are having a firesale on OP skins, went to sell an AK case hardened field tested and discovered there are like four of them for sale at around 70% of market price. every skin i searched for $20+ there were multiple for sale for less than 75%. great time to reload your inventory if you are busto.

This game is pretty frustrating. I started playing recently because I procrastinated by watching LANs on Twitch and got keen to play. Previously I had 60 hours game time from a few years ago of mostly arms race and deathmatch. I now have 120 hours total game time and after getting to rank 3 and getting 10 comp wins to determine rank it has put me at MG.

It kind of sucks being MG with such little game experience because people expect me to be less **** than I am.

It might feel like that but you have to keep in mind the game is trying to keep you around a 50% winrate, you are not meant to drop 30 bombs every game.

If you are really worse than the rank you got placed at you'll probably derank within 10 games.

"Betting on which team wins the first half"

"Betting on whether a game will go into overtime"

I haven't seen that anywhere.

Seems unlikely to me as they don't even offer futures for most lans because of the resources it requires.

I'd be pretty happy about that though. Will be a lot of free money.

been playing this game since january and just now thought to check for a thread on here. i used to play back in the day like 1.2 and stuff although was way more into quake 3 at the time. only like ~250 hrs played (mg1, 91 comp wins) but a lot of that is playing by myself or with awful groups.
