Until you get ranked, after 10 wins, you can only play 2 per day.

fml my computer sucks

You know that Stickyrice guy is he good at CSGO? I know he sucks at poker and all that but he seems to know what he is doing in CSGO... I was watching his stream the other day and his awareness on what everybody was doing whilst he was playing was really really good.

yeah sticky plays cs 1000x better than poker

I'm 7 matches won, I really suck at this game, and been getting a lot of sad smurfs, done like 10-12 matches.

Switching from 1.6 first impressions.

Walk/shoot is ghey.
Do I always need to tap A or D to shoot precisely?
This is pathetic, guy should stop instantly.

Nades are boring.

No ducking, also boring.

No stopsound or any way to disable ambiance annoying sounds.

Overall is more boring than 1.6 but you get ranks, matchmaking and skins that makes up for it, still would much rather have 1.6 improved than this, imagine 1.6 with matchmaking, that would be so wow

ya, 1.6 is still the better game. tho they're slowly listening and making changes. lol it took like 2 years for them to finally tweak movement.

Ha I'm kinda glad I haven't played 1.6 then I really like this game and I come from COD on console, Just the way CSGO works and the strategies that you can apply make it super interesting for me.

I've still got so much to learn, Plan is after the 10 matches to find some half decent people to party up with instead of just playing solo and playing with randoms,

pm here or add on steam

oh yeah I forgot wallbanging, not sure if just me being a nub or it's actually super hard to wallbang.

buying a deathadder, should arrive on monday, probably a bad investment, zowie fk1 would probably be a better choice, but I will try it, if I don't like it will ship it back and buy zowie.

my 1life €10 mouse sucks, my KANA has mouse2 broken

Not just you. Wallbanging is much less common in csgo.

graphics alone make it >>>>>>>

have you looked at any 1.6 videos after playing csgo? looks like total dog**** and makes you wonder how you ever sunk so many hours into it, lol.

i believe the issue was that csgo movement speed and acceleration is higher than it was in 1.6 and css, so players who played a ton of 1.6 felt 'iceskatey' when stopping on csgo. think they fixed it, as you said, before i started playing csgo and i didnt notice any difference.

personally i like most of the changes that bring more 'realism'. aimpunch, screen recoil shake, wallbanging nerf, etc. most older cs players seem to hate it tho, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

much harder. you cant shoot through stuff you logically shouldnt be able to anymore; like stone, thick metal, etc. the stuff you can shoot through like cardboard and wood doesnt do as much damage as it used to.

alot of people seem to get ****ed up by like the stone ledges on d2. alot of angles like a guy on A ramp, or looking up at someone on cat, you really only have a little head to aim at and they can be a real bitch to kill if you have ****ty aim like me.

oh and if you hadnt noticed, they changed the wood doors on d2 to reinforced doors. you can still bang, but it doesnt do nearly as much as it used to.

you missed the golden age of wallbanging in csgo. 7/6/14, never forget

The wallbanging is completely broken though.

You can't shoot through any of the boxes on dust2. Unless you are shooting through the corners or something.

Its so dumb people can just crouch peek over and over with no punishment.

You can shoot through nothing and everything now. If you hit a thin part/corner now you can shoot through basically anything. But even if its wood you can't shoot through a box.

This system that cares so much about angle/distance traveled through the materially actually creates spots where you can wallbang one way.

If you are on catwalk A site of Cache you can shoot basically anywhere in A-main, but they can only shoot back if they are on lockers or boosted.

Bringing back more wallbangs would definitely make me happy. I know it wasn't logical or anything, but it made the game lots more fun on 1.6. Watching (or playing) games on nuke was just amazing. You could wallbang everything, you had to work on your game sense a lot more, learn to figure out where people are and shoot them through walls.

I think it made the game "smarter". Sure, reducing some stuff might make sense, but they way they made csgo is you can't shoot through anything unless you have an AWP (pretty much). I think it's less fun.

def a fair point and one of my pet peeves; make the ****ing boxes consistent. some boxes on d2 are ****ing impenetrable (doublestack?), while some random boxes, like the one in the middle of inferno A site are apparently made of sheets of paper.

lol at the games right now, every game i've played today includes unranked people who have no idea what's going on. why are they putting these dudes in with novas put them in their own ****ing group jesus christ

so the thing that really is annoying me the most is the movement.
so the only way to shoot precisely without being stopped is sidestepping?
like do I always have to press d after I move left to get good acc?

Is there any other way?
