played both now, prefer the ps3 button layout, more natural, but but but and this maybe a connexion thing rather than a system thing but the ps3 seems to lag a little bit more online when theres all airstrikes and choppers going on.

just an observation.

You will notice a difference in certain online games on PS3 vs. 360 since you have to PAY for the online service on the 360. Microsoft can afford to cough up some serious bandwidth and servers, while Sony can't.

opponent skill level on xbox >>>>>>>>>>>>>> ps3 imo

but i hate the fact the L1/R1 are aim shoot on the PS3.

Also, on the PS3 you have to use your left thumb to reach the dpad so using those commands means you have to stop moving and I hate that. then there is also the lag.

so far I have seen nothing better on the PS3 version...it just tilts me.

I much prefer the Xbox version as I've NEVER been spawn camped in Xbox and it seems pretty standard on PS3.

You just haven't faced a good enough team to box you into the same spawn point. BTW did you get a new screenname? I haven't seen you on in forever.

I have little to add to this except for a few observations

You have to pay for live so it attracts more serious online players.

Most 360 systems come with a mic so a high percentage of players have mics which can be good or bad depending on what u like to play. Obviously 10yr olds screaming in tdm is not fun but a well coordinated team on objective based games is fun. Prob less 10yr olds on live than psn because of the charge but more of them have mics.

If you play cod on the ps3 you are segregating yourself from most of 2p2
