I haven't warred for quite some time, been in farming clans for awhile now. Will get back to warring eventually, but did it up through the first half of TH9 and needed a break.

More like prioritizing keeping the lab operating. At the time my DE was being consumed to boost Heroes and my other elixir-based upgrades @ TH9 were complete so kept the lab going and did healer while I upgraded to TH10.

Pretty new to TH9, but my walls are probably already better than yours. Not to mention I've been playing about half as long as you.

Couldn't imagine even going through TH9 without lvl2 witch and lvl4 golem, so will bang those out next. I'm sure my heros will be in the 20s as well and all lavas done before I go to TH10.

I've only been TH9 for about a month.. It's not because of gold I haven't done it yet and I will be starting first wizard tower tomorrow. They were maxed when I left TH8. I suppose I could gem them though! Most of the walls have been elixir though so far.

I realize doing the xbow and cannons before splash is probably a leak, but gowiwi is about the only thing I worry about during war and they figure to help a bit more.

I think that's the setup I was using, seems ages ago. So I didn't give one **** (let alone two) about golems or witches, they weren't a priority as I'm not warring.

Staying at a TH to max everything is like putting $1,000 rims on a $200 car.

Get those Xbows to lvl 3 quick, that is a 15 dmg boost over lvl 2. The lvl 4 xbows are a joke as far as ROI (you gain 5 dmg for 8 million)

You're better off going to TH10 and spending that loot on infernos, 3rd xbow, etc.

I'd recommend having minimum skull walls to TH10 and you're fine (I had all skulls plus some leggos in the mix when I upgraded)
