What are your thoughts on the different leagues?

I am currently grinding silver 2 at th8 with archer level 5, giant 5, healer 2 as the troops I use for attacks. Without too many nexts, I can find a village to attack with 150 each of e and gold and take it fairly easily with deploying about 50-75% of my troops.

Would my farming opportunities be any better in a higher league?

Gold 2, no giants, no healers, add barbs. 300k each not uncommon.

What are the attacks like? My defense stands up to almost all attacks so I never lose loot and don't have to worry about preserving shields.

Ditching the healer and giants will be tougher, but will give that a go too.
