Can anyone help, i cannot save the game after completing the final mission "downfall", it also does not give me the war hero trophy, i have now done this 3 times and still it won't save, it just plays the credits then goes to the zmbie mode....This is on the PS3....anyone know what is going on.

has anyone actually chosen prestige mode instead of golden guns?

i mean, prestige mode sounds really honorable, but i dont think i could get another 55 levels without burning out. im 44 right now...

btw i use the m16! (or the m4, whichever is auto i dont use the semiauto)

heh, did you know there is more than one level of prestige? you can go up to lvl 10

world @ war is better than cod4 because of the maps, the rest of the game it probably is not quite as good (altho dogs is super cool)

I hate a lot of the maps in waw. Seelow is awful, as is Outskirts. On these maps I run around without finding anyone (esp. true for Outskirts) and then I'm either sniped or killed by a tank or some other ridiculous crap happens. Roundhouse is THE map where I tilt like hell because people will always spawn behind me. And the tanks going in circles, dominating everything.

I love seelow, I like outskirts I dislike Roundhouse, dislike Makin and despise downfall although it is starting to grow on me

Seelow & Outskirts don't really suit a run & gun style. I like them - gives me a chance to equip a rifle and pick some guys off. On Roundhouse, just equip two stickies and fireworks. There's loads of cover so you can get in right behind the tanks. Both stickies on the back seems to nail a healthy tank in one.

What setups are you guys using? I'm still clocking out some weapons & challenges so I haven't really settled on anything yet.

I usually try to play against clans and groups becuase its fun to try and pwn them when they are orgainized and your team sucks. If your playing zombies invite me.

And to top it all off on this piece of **** game, after the last double points weekend, my zombies mode is now locked even though I have beaten the game.

this is rly wtfish since they made zombie mode open to all. forgive me if you know this but i assumed you didnt by your inclusion of "even tho ive beaten the game"...

i played CoD4 again over the weekend and the maps really arent that good. Loads of camping which is ****ing annoying.

eh not imo, i like the maps on WaW a lot more...4 has too many maps that i hate while i can't really think of any that i hate on WaW. i'm not even a rifle dude, 90% of the time i run and gun with an smg or mp44. the only map on WaW that i think is too big is seelow

Dome has the best camping spots in the game imo. Fighting is so hectic that people dont even realize where you are hiding if you have a silencer in some spots.

Dome is insane on the PC with 20+ players - surviving more that a few seconds is an achievment. Managed to get the dogs on there once and the adrenaline was pumping a little too much. I backed into the hole in the floor.

In other news, got a 23 kill streak in a tank on Seelow yesterday. Clueless donks just kepr running across open ground holding their satchels
