I switched to controller back in original since keyboard made my wrists really sore took a bit and maybe a tiny bit worse but overall a good switch
+1
I was getting carpal tunnel playing the og with a keyboard and made the switch to save my wrists. It took a couple runs to get used to but I don't think I'd go back now.
Yesterday I threw a Lost Epic Fetus run, and got ****ed on an Ipecac run (Matchbook on boss room, THREE homing troll bombs popped and I was too slow). In hindsight, it was ******ed to pick up the Matchbook to begin with.
Maybe I'll just wait until Afterbirth when the Lost gets D4 as a starting item.
This weekend I tried playing Isaac with my non-gamer wife, and it didn't go so well. She died on literally every single room with an enemy in it. She'd just freak out and run into things. The most hilarious moment was when she spawned in and Headless Baby started following her instead of me. "OH GOD THIS EYE IS CHASING ME WHAT DO I DO!?" Probably had to be there. I just kept having her spawn in whenever I had an extra heart to spare. We did two runs. One on my primary save file in which something that has never happened to me in 300 hours of Isaac occurred. We (I) killed Blue Baby and then died to a remaning fly. First time for everything.
I loaded up an unused file for run #2 thinking the game would be easier before the "Everything is terrible!" unlock. It wasn't. She still died to anything and everything, but "we" killed Mom anyway.
so I just realised you can unlock everything in normal mode except babies and god head.
why the hell did I play in hard mode so far? ( I read something in this thread about a while ago how it was the way to go).
