just had a fun Samson run with Pyromaniac, pretty amazing item for him to get bloody lust built huge, didn't get the good synergies(mostly since I don't have Dr or Epic unlocked yet)

7/10 Hard Heart done, the allstar trio Maggie/Blue Baby/Lazarus left
Meatboy/3 Donation achievements, Challenges and ~20 item touches

In the original I had 150ish deaths before a Mom kill, in rebirth I might have to go suicide mission runs to finish plat god, at 75deaths so might have everything done before 100.

Ipecac + Shielded Tears makes for a pretty interesting run.

is there a way to get rid of trolly item/effects? or you just have to know not to pick them up.

Why no one corrected me? I learned today that this sentence is stupid.

Even though I had ipecac and I was down to 1 heart there I managed to beat it, thanks to super OP krampus head or whatever it's called.

beat1: devil room didn't spawn (hopefully not a hardmode 'feature', reduced chance would be awful)

Just get Goat Head(probably a top 5 item in the game) it corrects any mistakes. Basement 2 Devil Deal is 100% on Hard as long as you took no red heart damage. Basement 1 is only through red chest teleports or Joker cards(easy way to beat challenge 14 reset for Joker card and a good deal)

Hard doesn't seem to mess with Devil Deals at all. Luck might, luck down is especially bad on Hard mode as it hurts the already low consumable drops

Finally beat Waka Waka, no damage up but did get solid health and Krampus head

wen into a room with 9hearts but it was double super dingles and lost 7 as they zip all over the ****ing place and I have no damage to kill them and you couldn't push them on spikes due to your ****ty ****ing tears. I really thought I was trolled out of the game by that room. Rainbow poop right before Foot and I get out and never have to worry about ****ing magnet tears again.

Dingle were one of the main reason I despised that challenge, most enemies are basically the same but some turn into total hell as they fly everywhere around the room now.

well, obviously Devil Room doesn't spawn on the first floor, after 200 hours ingame one would think I should remember that

Mom's Heart is the best fight in the game now! Although any of the end bosses are afk snoozers with Dry Baby. Fairly sure that thing is going to get nerfed.

Also, day four of the SMB grind. I realized last night after finding a monster manual and sharp plug on depths 1 or 2 but riding an all soul heart build with no soul heart building effect, and giving up in frustration, that I also had the cancer item (not trinket) which is basically the wafer after one use. If I had just held on to the manual and found the book of rev or the other one that grant soul hearts, I could swap back and forth for infinite health and manual rolls since the sharp plug only takes half a red/soul heart on use with cancer/wafer.

And why did they nerf the habit when they made sharp plug so op? It used to charge the dice halfway, now it just does one tick. After the depths the sharp plug is 2 hearts vs. 6 with the habit to charge a six bar item (or 1/2 heart vs 3 with wafer/cancer).

The Lamb is a pretty awesome fight, the dark room is very tough so often you won't go down unless you are pretty OP and that takes away from the fight

I like the style of the Isaac/Blue Baby fights now, they probably need a little stronger attacks though as they seem a fair bit easier than original. More interesting of a fight at least.

There's more going on with them, but they should have kept the retaliatory strike effect, it's too easy to dodge everything but the rng beams or blue baby's random teleports on top of you.

I think it's just a random chance, like 1/3 or 1/4. But he's even better as a shield (esp. with BFF) just run towards a boss then back a bit so he's positioned in front of you and you only ever have to worry about homing tears or flies getting behind you, which you can fix by hanging against a wall.

Ok so I just got that nonstop boss rush where you cycle through basically every single boss, 2 at a time. I got it on the Slow Roll challenge, and at the end of it all I got was the Whooop spacebar item. Am I supposed to unlock something, and is it invalidated because I did it during a challenge?

Secondly, I was on the Slow Roll challenge so I had the huge arrow tears. I also bought a broken watch and so every single boss came out slowed. I also picked up homing tears earlier. So....that was the easiest boss rush in the history of ever. Didnt take a single hit of damage.

Most OP build to date. Max damage (abbadon and cricket's head AND whore babylon) with homing poison brimstone, loki's horns and tammy's head. Insta killed every room with spacebar.

Damage doesn't actually max, one of the most common breaking run is to get sacred heart/godhead/scythes/teeth(with lots of luck) as big as possible they can get really really big, like cover then entire screen big.

didnt check the streams yet but do the streamers do some races yet?
