15k seems like a huge underestimate given that gamej06 got 5k more by himself, unless that's a figure they've somehow tracked as people following just through the FFZ addon

Yeah, I find the no slots ps1 runs to be the most interesting/fun, but I can see why they're not so keen on having it be an 8 hour run

Right, I believe that number is only people following through the FFZ add-on button. Also possible to unfollow through the same button, so I guess "netted" is taking unfollows into account as well.

Anyway if anybody hasn't heard of frankerfacez, it's a really cool browser extension that lets you use custom emotes in channels of non-partnered users. Me and many others have donated to support it, and it is really cool to see that they are rolling out new and useful features today.

I really enjoy FF7 speed runs(godly Tifa is awesome). And I really like Puwexil and I've seen him do this run a number of times. But put me down as someone that really hates "glitches" and "warps" that skip large chunks of the game. I get using them like in FF9 to avoid random encounters.

I also understand that it was the only way to get FF7 in this year. Hope FF8's PC version is in next year.

They just finished the TASbot segment, so now should be setup and then the Super Metroid race. Also zoasty is doing audio commentary for the race on his channel twitch.tv/zoasty, so if you're really interested in Super Metroid I would highly reccomend checking that out during the segment.

What is this save/kill the animals ****. I remember the saying from last time i watched adgq but have no idea what it's about. Now my 10 year old son is running around saying kill all the animals :/

You can go into a special room during the escape and save some animals. It changes the ending to the game very slightly. Most of the time in speedruns this isn't done because it takes extra time, thus "kill the animals" is just not saving them.

Your son is right.
