Unless you have a posse to roll around with, a PvP server will eat you alive.
The "PvP" servers just mean that it's 100% FFA from level 5. Anyone can kill you at any time for any reason with zero restrictions and no real consequences.
The idiots keep trying to compare it to the UO atmosphere. But your average griefer is too ******ed to understand that in UO, rampant griefing had severe consequences in most cases. Thus it required some actual forethought and skill to be a good PK. In Conan, you can spawn camp someone for an hour with really no recourse. Unless a bigger fish decides to come along and grief YOU. The FFA servers are stupid unless you have a group of 5 you'll be leveling with.
The PvE servers are how the game was meant to be played. There are FFA PvP zones later in the game, and of course the PvP mini games and Guild vs Guild combat.
