Format is either 1 deck, or 2 deck. Honor system is better than allowing sideboarding (just agree to have one/two decklists and play the first deck first and not change cards.)

Bracket structure is either dbl elim or single elim... bo3 matches.

Those are the only things to decide... I have nfi what people want to play

1 deck is kinda boring

although I can see why it could be preferred so early on in the game's life for people who only had time to craft cards for one deck

In. I'd agree with the above. And make it Single Elim. We shouldn't drag this out. Keep it quick.

If it turns out to run smoothly, we can always do another.
