Great idea to do a freeroll. I prefer a 10% payout structure (but i tend to bubble a lot, so the flatter the better ...LOL).

I have an account with you but not on FT. I saw in my news on the "member update" section of you website, that you are opening this up to any member (I have a rakeback account with you on another poker site). How will this work? and what are the details?

Basically what will happen is, you will pick a full tilt poker account to represent you, even if its not attached to rakeback, even if its not under our program, you will be able to play using your FT account.

I prefer a regular tourney to a turbo one. With Full Tilt's blind structure alot are going to be gone in an hour or so anyway. Personally prefer a standard payout structure as well. These freerolls are to reward your players so give something to as many as possible. You can have a 20% payout structure and still have decent payouts for the final table.

It's going to really suck though if 2000 qualify and only 500 show up. The ones who get lucky and are at tables completely by themself for awhile and get to steal all the blinds are going to have an advantage over the unlucky ones who actually have to play poker to build their stacks. If this is what pretty much occurs then I guess it may as well be a turbo with a small percentage payout structure because it's going to be a luck fest anyway rather than a skilled tournament.

Having griped about all that the idea of having the freeroll is great and I commend you for it. I'm just a bit disappointed that it's not going to easy to implement it in a good poker tournament fashion. The time doesn't matter to me. Hope it turns out to be a huge success for you.

We did turbo because after the first test, EVEN WITH turbo it took 1 hour 15 mins until all the idlers were blinded out. If we didn't do turbo it would take x3 that.

The reason we are doing only 45 paid places is because we wanted people that made it into the money, to actually get more than $1.50 etc..

With all that said, we are open to suggestions and will change anything to whatever the players want. We have run 2 tests now and running the final one this Sunday at 3pm. After that, the full tourneys get started, and we will watch for feedback

I say make 5% or even less than that be awarded money. Like you said, I wouldnt want to play for 2 hours to make a dollar. Placing should be worth something decent at least.

Ya we are really waiting to see how many ACTIVE players play in the first real event then we could scale the prize pool accordingly. The way we will have it setup, is the prize pool will be at least $5000.00 per week.

This news thing at the top of the page that keeps changing and altering the layout making everything move up and down is really fooking annoying, can ye fix it please?

What day is the first event? All I see at the site is Sundays. Is there one this Sunday or will it be the 17th?

The first event will be Sunday the 17th. We will have all our graphics and counters up hopefully today.

Cheers

We've had no reports of any problems. Try a different browser today perhaps?

It resolved itself after an hour or so, have no idea what the issue was. Must have been on my end.
