So I'm making two posts for my 10K post (Did you really think a single post would be enough? Then you don't know me...) crossposted in the two forums I'm an active mod; Beginners Questions and Micro Stakes Full Ring.

I started posting on 2+2 in June of 2004 after a short period of lurking. That summer a local charity tournament got me hooked on the game. I'd never played before, I Googled "poker strategy" a week or so before the tournament and found 2+2. I read all that I could and tried some play money. I did well in the tournament. I started playing freerolls online and kept at it. By October I had a small, $50 bankroll. A couple weeks later I made my first cash out, for $150. By the end of the year, I'd worked my roll up to a few hundred dollars. March 5, 2006 was my last day working a "real job", I quit to become a full time online pro. So this is also my third anniversary as a pro player.

I've been a mod on 2+2 since Aug, 2007. I'm currently moderator of Beginners Questions, Micro Stakes Full Ring, Small Full Ring, Internet Bonuses and Affiliates/RakeBack. However, I'm really a back-up or secondary mod on all but Beginners and Micro.

For years I played full ring cash. The last four months I've been playing Double or Nothing SNGs. When I started playing online, I started with SNGs and a sprinkling of MTTs. I switched to cash because at the time the network I was playing on (Crypto) only allowed bonus clearing at cash games. Later when I left Crypto, I stuck with full ring due to ease of multi-tabling and bonus whoring. I've been playing full time at Stars since the summer of 2006 except for a few forays to other sites like FTP and Party mostly for reload bonuses. I've played upwards of two million hands online.

This post is a self-indulgent and nostalgic collection of some of my best and favorite threads. The other thread will be higher content. If you want to turn this into a general Q&A or Wellish thread, I'll do my best to answer anything I can.

Everybody always wants graphs. I don't post graphs very often, I don't like to brag and I don't like people knowing my business. However, over the years I have posted a few. There won't be any more or more complete graphs posted here. I don't have anything resembling a complete database of hands and it would be a huge PITA to assemble one.

No. Much, much harder. You pay very little rake compared to just about everything. There's actually a chance I won't be able to maintain my SuperNova after June.

Thank you very much on your insight into dealing with those short stack devils. Before reading your post I found myself confused when dealing with <20BB players. Now I have more confidence in turning the tables on them and playing for "effective stacks". Again, Thanks.
