Villain is untalented_, who plays 20/17/5, i haven't tangled with him much before, especially at 3/6, and really don't have much of a read on. Flop and turn play just completely confused me.

If you called his flopbet you must have done it with an intention right?

This turn card is the nuts for you, so although his bet-sizing is weird I would still c/R turn and commit

Not really, hence the confusion. I'm just not a folder.

with better reads flop is generally a 3bet for me.

since you called the flop you shouldn't really fold a brick turn. with his weakish bet sizing i can see himself talking into a call with worse thinking you're just semibluffing.

The hand values dont change any on the turn so you should generally go with what you were thinking on the flop. He can have a good amount of tens like AT KT QT 9T, and also 99, 77 maaaaaaaybe JJ

Either he is drawing to 3 outs or you are drawing very very slim,

c/r should tell you all you need to know.

ehm I disagree with basically all you say;

Hand values change a LOT on the turn (98 had 45% equity and now has 29% for example)

This is also definitely not a WA/WB situation; think about hands like 98/87/JT.

And although I agree with C/Ring this turn it's definitely not for information ldo

Ok so either his hand value has gone down a good amount or you are still drawing slim.

How do people feel about bet/folding turn, and c/c blank rivers if called?

c/f turn and squeeze the stress ball

I like b/f turn, and that is the line I normally take. However draws can still shove you.

3betting flop seems a lot better than b/f turn

I assume if we 3ball de flop we're calling it off right?

ya its more of a range balancing thing to counter the times we are doing this w/8x.

balancing your range versus an unknown?

3beting the flop has nothing to do with balancing lol

no, i was talking about if we had better reads. i think 3betting the flop vs an unknown is pretty spewey.

Bah, I feel like I want to fold flop.

He has like a pair + draw or 2pair a lot imo.

Do you think he gets this aggro with a weak T?

you could really fold the flop here.

yeah don't really see why so many ppl wanna felt this here. He raised a board u shouldnt be cbetting that much, unless u are in some leveling war that i dont know about. That would be my general default against a decent player w/o history. You could have the best hand but there are a lot of bad turns and u will be in a tricky spot oop should u call and brick.

Unless it's intended as a bluff, it clearly does, at least if villain wasn't an unknown. As it is, 3betting the flop is just plain terrible.

explain why 3betting the flop is a worse line than calling and b/fing the turn
