So I raised AA to 5x and got called.
Flop was A2Q
I bet and he calls
Turn: 2
I bet again, he calls.
River: 2
I fire one last time, he raises. I reraise, he shoves. I call. He shows up with 23o.
Are you kidding me? Worst beat I've taken to date. Odds were 1/903 to be exact, which is beyond the scope of the term "bad beat" IMO. I'd upload the hand history in BBV if I didn't play on stupid Bovada.
The point is that I discovered how far my rage can actually go today. I told this person in chat that I would find him and murder his entire family. I would actually do this right now if I could. If this had been live, I'd have beaten him senseless outside and taken my money back by force once the game was over. I recall telling him that I hope he witnesses his children die, amongst many other pleasant things, and I truly meant every last one of them.
I get that fish have to win sometimes, but f*ck that. That hand was MINE, and I should never lose it because that situation isn't even going to play out 903 times in my "career" so that I can "reap the profits." No. I got robed by an idiot with a wild hair up his ass and it's gone. So I monkeytilted for the first time in over 2 years on this guy and ended up paying off his QQ with K7o. I thought I was long past ever doing that again, but I guess every man has their breaking point and being grossly sucked out on twice by the same laughing idiot was mine. It kills me to know this moron skinned me for somewhere around $350ish in a matter of minutes.
Now I'm drunk, pissed off, and considering just opening some 5nl tables and shoving every hand until I burn away another $200, even though it's only been about 40 minutes since all of this happened. Maybe it's time to open up Tendler's book again and not play for a few weeks.
wow tyvm gilliam this had me in stitches
