So I am a HU cash player playing this HU miniftops event today. I was just wondering what adjustments if any I should be making for this tournament, I figured some of you HUSNG players (or anyone else for that matter) could get into some detail.

I'm pretty comfortable with pushbotting when stacks get shallow but I am hoping it doesn't get to that point.

What's a decent 3betting range? Should I not be 3betting as wide as I would in cash? Should I not be as obsessed for going for thin value?

Look at a nash chart when in the SB for shove/fold late game. Otherwise everything is pretty intuitive if you have experience playing against short stackers and so on. Plan your bet sizing based on stack sizes and balance.

3bet mostly for value, and try to exploit your opponent rather than balance your range in 3bet pots, simply because stacks are not that deep as it is in cash. play solid poker, focus on eff stax, and implied odds, decrease your raise size preflop, or you can start minraising right from the start, pot control and aggressiveness in position should lead you to the money

If it gets to the push/fold stages of HU, I wouldn't use Nash unless I thought my opponent played push/fold unexploitable, which in practice is almost never the case. You can almost always push wide because they fold too much, or call wide because they push too much.
