On this texture I think I c/c flop. We're ahead of basically every hand in his range (except 77 and maybe 55 if he ever has it), and I don't really want to fold out his overcards. I'd like to give him the chance to barrel the part of his range that will fold immediately to a flop bet. If he checks behind overcards and improves on the turn, that's fine too.

As played, I don't think we can fold turn. We lose to 55, 77, and A7s. I'm not sure if all of those call PF or if he raises A7s on the flop, so maybe discount the six combinations to some extent. He can have 88-KK here too, right? AA just feels too high up in our range to give up now.

Yes, very important to add "hero ??".

Call turn and go from there. Especially given his tiny 3-bet stat, he can have JJ-KK in this spot.
