I know it should be obvious, but people keep getting sat HU by the prerson sweating them. It happened not too long ago in a PLO group and it happened last night in a general study group. It's usually a couple of buyins, before it becomes obvious.

I know you can't eliminate the risk, but you can mitigate for it. Post Mikogo/TV numbers in PMs with people you have got to know; at least a little.

Im not sure theres any point in posting names as it is so easy to change IDs on Skype, but this Villain was called Chrissie and from Germany.

Ahhhh I'm not used to seeing you without that girl avatar. But yeah gogogoooo suns one time, I've been waiting for it for like 5 yrs lol.

Translation: People sweat you in skype when you are playing a session. They can see what you see. They sit at your table when you are playing. Then they rape you with a steel pipe in the butt.

Shouldn´t you make that conversation available only to people you know/trust?

Maybe it´s got something to do with how Skype works, I don´t use that program that much. But I wouldn´t open these convos to anyone.

^^^ what he said. It's especially dangerous heads up for obvious reasons. This guy had been around for a while in the general group, which has a few HUSNG players who also play the odd bit of cash HU.

One of the group players reguarly had pretty open sweats as he was kind of mentoring and coaching a few new HUSNG players for free. He also played a lot higher than anyone else. I think his main game was $50 and $100 HUSNG, but he played as high as $2k. Some of these sessions were sweated by the same villain before this news broke the other day. I am hoping that this wasn't happening back then as the guy gave up a lot of time to helping people imporve their game. He also had some sick losing sessions when playing out of his roll v what he thought what he thought were huge fish.

I'm an old cynic. He was very trusting. I sincerely hope it was a recent phenomenon with this particualr villain.

Its mainly done with Mikogo or Team viewer for which you issue a log on number.

You are corect it should be done in private chat, which is one of the things I was advocating to mitigate against this sort of scam.

At the end of the day, even if you are careful doing this sort of thing, you are still trusting valuable information to random internet people, that you have minimal knowledge of.

If you are going to do it, just be always on guard, and be extra suspicious of people who always want to be sweatees, but never want to host.

yeh this has happened to sum1 i know! gotta be super careful with these ppl cos alot of ppl out there you cant trust!
