it's pretty hard to be beat here, but it's pretty hard to be bluffing as well. from a balance perspective, you should check assuming you play similar to 90+% of regulars (i.e. not a huge triple barrel spewtard)

Im confused which part are your are agreeing with? Are you saying if you were oop c/f it is too weak on the river? Or that being in position you agree with checking behind the river?

btw if you were oop whats best on the river? b/f against aggressive players and c/f versus nits?
