CO is 24/17 with 9% 3bet and a 84% fold to 3 bet over 320 hands. Called raised flop because there are so many bad turn cards. However, I also don't think I can call the shove? There's only one overpair I beat, and I don't think he is 4betting TT OOP probably. If I put his range at 99+ & AK/AQs, I'm at 30% equity. And then it drastically gets worse from there. Thoughts?

CO: 125 BB
Hero (BTN): 100 BB
SB: 105.3 BB
BB: 100 BB
UTG: 274.3 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J J

fold, CO raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, CO raises to 22 BB, Hero calls 13 BB

Flop: (45.5 BB, 2 players) 4 9 2
CO bets 15 BB, Hero raises to 33 BB, CO raises to 103 BB and is all-in, Hero ???

--------

UTG is a 81/25 fish over 17 hands. That's all I have. Limps a ton.

I raise flop because I have open ender + decent FD. A decent amount of the time I see people fold these 1bb donk bets anyway. Turn looking back I should have checked, but at the time I was just assuming he probably calls with any Q still, because he is a fish. River doesnt change much except I now beat his couple combos of QT/Q7. I make a little value bet assuming he will probbaly still call with a Q. What could I have done better in this hand?

H1: V folds to 3b 84% of the time and 4bs from MP, what do you think his range looks like?

H2: Looks fine to me. I just say nh and move on. You can't really chat anymore on WPN, but, you get what I am saying.

ty for response.

So his range crushes us. How do you play this? Call flop, re-evaluate turn?

You're welcome.

It may just be the small sample, but, it is the only thing we have to go on. So yeah, I call flop and eval turn. R/f in a 4bp at 100BB effective just feels awful.

H1 is an overplay. This guy looks tighter than a duck's cliché, it's a 4bet pot where he has the best of the board. Just call the flop and go from there. Even when he jams I think you can put right your mistake and fold. Is he ever doing this with an unpaired hand that isn't the nut flush draw?

H2 against this whale this is probably OK, against most opponents it would also be an overplay. By the river you are targeting Qx which most people would fold and even whales know where the fold buttons is when you raise twice, good sizing in this exact situation. The only hand he's going to pay off in a big way is QT and there are quite a few monster hands to be afraid of.

Definitely just pot control and probably fold to more aggression on pretty much any turn. JJ's just really doesn't play well vs his preflop 4bet range at all.
