I want to know if this raise on the turn is just bad or not. After i did it it seemed like it was just a stupid raise spot (sizing at least). Does my raise that big turn my hand into a bluff?

Villian was 15/11/7 3bet over 140 hands

Don't really see anything wrong with this when an ace is a big part of his range here.

Looks good to me. I like agression though. Is it wrong that I want to say raise the flop?

I honestly don't know what to think here. I really don't think someone who is pretty TAGy is betting AK or weaker and A2 and A3 are not in his range in the position with his stats. Tough spot but it looks like a set to me, def raise or fold tho. In the heat of the moment I would prob raise there.

Depends on villain. and how he see you.

In someway you are turning your hand into a bluff, on the other hand there arent that many flushes you could have unlesss you are often calling raises from him with SC, or maybe KJ Suited, wich isent that likely.

He may conteniue with a hand like A K

Anyhow I think you raise is ok, but just dont expect him to call a lot here. But its fine to take it down here, we dont want to lose a big pot when the river is a .

Also he may call with AK, or maybe even AJ.

Rasing the flop is pointless. You are turning you hand into a bluff.

He is calling you with hands that beats you, and he is folding all hands that are behind. + you are building a big pot with a TP kind off hand wich is bad.

Why would we want that ? we have a pretty strong hand TP Qkicker.

Save raising the flop until....

1. You eather have Air where there is more or less no posibel way you can win unless he folds ( You can raise here if villain is often folding his CB to a raise, or is he is often calling the raise, and then folds to a turn bet ) you should not play this line often, but sometimes with the right conditions we can do it to mix up our play. We are also playing this line to make sure we get called when we raise with the nuts.

2. When you have a good draw with many outs, where the combined fold EQ + the EQ you have in the hand makes it at least breakeven play.

3. You have the nuts.

Do you guys think my bet sizing on the turn is ok can i accomplish the same thing with risking less? If he shoves over the top is it a fold to you guys?

you're kinda over-repping your hand with a c/r, I probs bet/fold turn tbh as I expect him to check back Ax a decent amount and only raise with better

I consider top 2 more of a showdown value hand with a flush on board, thus I'm not thinking about getting stacks in.
