Hi there,

This is a hand I played recently. I'm not betting the flop because I don't think that he folds there.
I bet the Ace on the turn and get called then I give up.

I want to here some opinions about this play

Thank you

I don't normally like 3-betting UTG raises unless he raises light. If you do, pop it a bit larger, like $2, because you really want folds here. MP's range is pretty well defined as speculative hands, usually small PP's here. I think you normally have more FE in a 3-bet pot becuase they're more willing to give you credit for an overpair. I think you should c-bet. Turn bet is pretty mandatory since now you can rep A/big pretty well. When he calls, I'm never betting that river.

Don't post results.

the fact that he's willing to call your squeeze w/ a2s should tell you why squeezing can be a bad idea w/o reads

im dbl barreling here like always. ull get plenty of folds on the flop and hell fold most of his pp's on the turn.

fine, you might have to 2 barrel once the A comes on the turn as they will float here once with other PPs.

squeezing at 25nl and below needs to have reads to be profitable, since for the same reasons bluffing isn't good post-flop, squeezing isn't great against players that don't like to fold their A-highs and smallish pps (along with monsters).

After his call, against an unknown i'd put them on pps 77-AA, AJs+, AQo+, which obviously has you crushed. your post flop play looks fine imo. As for the results, well, you obviously squeezed a whale, so definitely don't do these things against that type of player if you knew beforehand.

Someone that air calls the turn with only ace rag high might even justify calling that river anyway. I think with those types you just pick your spots value betting every pair and getting them long run.

Because you don't want people's responses to be skewed by the results. You want to know what they would do with the same information you had at the time you made the decisions.

Peronally I kind of like it when results are posted after the thread has run its course as a type of "reflection." But they definitely shouldn't be in the original post.
