Trouble folding Jacks while playing as a short stack against another short stacker Trouble folding Jacks while playing as a short stack against another short stacker

I think I should have pushed preflop or folded. However, I decided to flat and see the flop. The flop looked fairly safe. I wasn't since no overcards hit. I initially thought villain had overcards when he 3bet me. But then looking over the stats (22/5/1.8 over 300~ hands) again I noticed that he does have a tight PF raising range even though he does have a fairly high VPIP.

On the flop bet I am getting ~3.5:1 which is an easy call right?

p.s i am playing uber nitty while playing short stack. basically 7.5/5.3/3.07 over about 6k hands so far since Monday. Pretty much playing only premium cards and shoving when I hit. Is this the correct strategy to play? sorry, i know everyone hates short stackers...

It doesn't matter. He'll show up here with AK, AQ and TT, too. Put it in pf.

Do not play shortstacked! You decisions would be much simpler.

As played:
Preflop: With your stack, if you call, you will be pot committed, so go ahead and shove.

As played:
Flop: You got a great flop, you are pot committed, shove it.
