Hi,

I am trying to plug a leak in my game,

I have just been looking through my 120K hands played at NL5 rush.

WHat i have noticed is that when i PFR and Cbet the flop with KK (and overpair), i have been minraised 6 times which has resulted in me reraising and getting it all in on the flop.

4 out of these 6 times the guy has had 2 pair once and a set 3 times.

I am thinking how i can play vs minraises on the flop now...

All these pots i was OOP - this is unavoidable, i can play this situation easy IP.

Is it best to call a raise and lead on the turn and fold to further resistance

Or call a flop raise, check call turn, check call brick rivers/small bets

I cant reraise the flop as i have been doing because i find myself commited.

Some advice would be really welcome as i am a bad player OOP.

Cheers

Depends on board texture, and your opponent.

Cant get a read off board textures, Also i dont use a HUD, and my comp is poo so when i play rush it cant keep up from the ones i have tried

This happens more on Q high rainbow boards than boards like 687 2 suits.

I have just looked again and when i get minraised on the flop and i continue - whether i reraise and get all in on flop or turn or river.

This has happened 9 times and i was ahead twice.

I have lost $19.39 or 4304.44bb/100.

Similar stats with AA too although only happened 5 times

Is folding to a min raise every time really bad play - i cant see villains at this level picking up on that as a read - especially in rush.

BY folding i lose the minimum - a cbet

You cant get a read off board texture but you can define villains range better.

Rush is nitty as hell isnt it? Its probably a mistake to stack an OP OTF lol (I dont play rush) Folding to a min raise EVERY time is probably not good, but depending on the player folding to a minraise is probably ok. How nitty is rush? Man im glad i dont play it, is everyone like a 9/5 setmining nit or something?

Why do you respond to a minraise by getting it in on the flop? Obv it will depend on lots of things, but in general, always getting it in when raised on the flop is going to be bad.

Get a HUD or play regular tables. Playing without reads is not going to improve your game.

And to your question - it's villan dependent. This is why you don't play without reads.
