I've read a few times that there's more to be made in 6max games + all pros seem to play 6max/HU.
- What's the pro's and con's?
- Should I look to be transitioning to 6max at some point, if so when?

If you r making this thread, you are more likely to be a winner in full ring than 6max.

6max plays noticeably looser than full ring and your going to find your self having to make tough decisions with marginal hands alot more often. You also invariably end up playing a higher % of hands out of position which takes some getting used to. If you just treat it like you would playing bb,SB,but,co,hj,mp in full ring you will do ok provided you normaly play pretty aggressive from those positions.......your red line becomes alot more important as well, if you red line is tanking in full ring and you don't adapt its just going to nose dive in 6max....

I got told the rake is too big to be profitable at the micros but then I see loads of positive results. Take that noobis guy he's played a boat load of hands at 10nl and 5nl with a good win rate.

Noobis now plays 6m? He was super nitty at the FR tables; surprised he's made that transition.

My quick assessment of both NL25/Nl50 is that at 6max the better players are better than the best FR players and the worse players are worse. People arnt getting as much out of line at 6max as your average FR player wants to believe.

Anecdotal evidence for sure, but I had a couple of stacks donated the last nl50 session I played by guys that definitely had that reg vibe and stats. In spots I wouldn't expect a reg to decide to just ship it in on the river. Their stories weren't really believable, and I expect 6m regs to hand/board read a bit better on average than fr regs.

Read the 6max forum mate. So much more advice on GII with just overpairs and doubs. I often play 6max when I'm bored and i find the games to be a lot more challenging. Cbetting is lame too cos at micro stakes the 6max villains call Cbet more often than u expect so it might not be as profitable. But raising cbets is really fun lol

the thing I like most about six max is that the flops tend to be easier with fewer players.
