Hey Guys,

Want to move over to 6MAX. I have been playing FR for ages and I am successful at 2nl-5nl (13bb/100 and 8bb/100).

1. Is there much difference between 6max Rush and normal speed? My initial thoughts are it might be slightly tighter but I have no experience.

My friend has three books and I don't know which would the best to start with, or is there one that would best suit a noob playing 2nl-5nl.

Let there be range + The work book.
Blueprint.
Easy Game.
Small stakes(Miller et al).

I would welcome your thoughts. COTW and Stickies will be my work for his weekend to get me started.

Thanks in advance.

I can only speak for zoom vs normal tables on stars. But zoom is a bit tougher more regs less fish compared to normal tables. Also you will be facing more situation vs unknowns which really is tough and it will probably hurt your winrate a little bit.

Thanks for reply. So you recommend starting with No RUSH to get better reads etc?

I would just test both and see what you more comfortable with. Rush has certainly advantages, you can just pause the tables without loosing your seats for example. You can play less tables while still getting in a lot of hands.
Nl2-Nl5 should be very fishy even with rush so its a good stake to test it and see if you like it.
Just give both normal tables and rush a shot and decide afterwards what you like best.

Let there be range. That's really advanced stuff dude you will not need it until up to NL100 IMO.

Poker blue print. Harington on 6 max. And when you reach NL25 Exploiting regs by tri. and then NL50 / nl100 Is time for Let there be range.

I am playing NL10 at the moment. and that's the general advise I manage to gather on what to read for 6 max.
