This is a live NL game, £1/£3 (max £600)
Hero's stack = £400ish
Villain's stack = £390
Villain is generally a TAG player but I have seen him get it all in with very marginal holdings. I haven't played with him that much but the last time I did, I saw him shove over someone's 4-bet on the flop with KTo on a ten high flop.
The game in general has been pretty passive.
Hero is in the hijack position with A
7
Limps around to Hero, Hero raises to £16, Villain (SB) calls, 2 other callers.
Flop:
2
3
5
Villain checks, both MPs check, Hero bets £54. Villain calls. Others fold.
Turn 7
Villain checks, Hero bets £100. Villain raises to £320 (all-in)
Hero (???)
OK this may seem like a pretty standard fold but seriously are there any hands at all in his range that we are beating here??
Also how is the turn bet vs checking behind?
Is it possible that he has called on the flop with something like 67 and just thinks we are bluffing, or maybe he floated with AJ/AQ/AK of clubs?
Before that hand I was raising and c-betting almost 1 in 3 hands so I guess I had a loose image..
Does anyone ever stack off here? I can't explain why but I just did not like folding there.. someone sort it out for me please!
