Ok, at thi point i am readless against villain, which is why i think this line may be bad. I can't give him credit for a jack here because he checked behind on the turn. A flush is well within his range but i didnt believe him....and wouldn't a higher pair (or a 10) bet the turn to prevent a flush draw hitting river...idk readless the river is prolly a fold but his line was just so fishy i had to look it up for information if nothing else.

I would probably fold to the flop minraise. You are an unknown to him, and NL50 players tend to give respect to unknows, especially after you 3bet then lead this flop.

There is no way I'm calling of 30% of my stack on the river because I have a hunch and want information.

given that i have no read on the guy i agree with you...but i put myself in his spot here...if i had a flush draw in his spot would i min raise that flop? absolutely not, id pot it or call. so really all im afraid of here is an overpair or him hitting the 10, beacuse he wouldnt check a jack behind turn. am i completely wrong in thinking that?

maybe your ahead on the flop but you will never hit good turn&river cards. from this point fold
