CO opener is 24/20
BTN 3bettor is 27/18

BTN knows I 4bet a balanced range, but I don't think he gives me credit for a cold 4bet bluff. We have been going at it a little, but nothing completely outrageous.

SB ($620.25)
Hero ($606.05)
UTG ($105.50)
CO ($404)
Button ($672.55)

ANTES/BLINDS
SB posts blind ($2), Hero posts blind ($4).

PRE-FLOP : Hero has Q8
UTG folds, CO raises to $16, Button raises to $51, SB folds, Hero raises to $120, CO folds, Button calls $69.

FLOP($256): 8 6 3
Hero ???

(like $480 back)

flop/turn/river line needed

if anyone's line gets there, turn is the K, river is the A

When you say that he gives you credit for a balanced 4bet range but not a 4bet bluff...What do you mean? What range IS he giving you credit for?

I chk/fold the flop, but I could be convinced in betting a K turn.

How is this anything but a c/f? From your description I wouldn't day he can show up here with unpaired high cards. Looks alot like JJ+ to me and they are never folding after calling pre with this flop.

I think AK, JJ-AA gets it in preflop. I don't think he bets this flop with that many made hands for some reason.

4bet is too small imo.

I agree that the 4bet is too small, especially 150 BBs deep. But I disagree that he gets it in preflop with JJ-AA given he's in position and OP is 4betting a balanced range. He is definitely shoving AK preflop, but I think there is more value for him in calling with JJ+ in this spot, particularly since its 150BBs deep and he isn't going to want to blow off a worse hand or get it in pre dominated. I'd c/f flop, if he checks back then we are auto-firing K turn, and jamming river aswell.

At first look, your 4-bet invites him to call..

Bet flop, and then i mean turn u gotta bet also.

^^^not for me

do we really want to donk off 150 bbs here?

150bbs deep, with a loose image, bloating a pot OOP, with a weak holding. Also this play looks a little suspicious without your description of messing around a little, ie 4 betting 2 late openers.

fold it pre, as played check fold the flop all day every day

I think c-f this flop is std but, if he ch it back i'd probably bet K on the turn and get from there, 'cause this kind of board is ok for him to trap you on later streets.

Is he the type to be scared to get it in with AK this deep and just hope to hit/check it down? I think that basically sums up whether you should bet the king or not after checking, because you can very accurately rep tha AK
