What exactly is my best play on the river?
I would say push, because he has a lot of two pairs or lower straights in his range.
Are there reasons not to push on the river and for example bet small + fold to push?

I posted this in another thread already today, but plan your bet size on the flop better. It's a drawy board and you can bet a larger amount on drawy boards.

If you pot the flop & turn your river bet will be 9x your flop bet and you'll have bet a total of 13x your flop bet. 13x 5 = 65 and he has 50, so we know we can bet ~80% on the flop (it's not linear obviously).

That'd mean $4.25 into $5.25 on the flop, $11 into $13.75 on the turn and he's conveniently down to $35 effective in a $36 pot.

$12.25 ott, trivial river shove against this fish - lots of value to be had as he has lots of worse hands he will call other than flushes.
