Stacking KK pf for 114BB's-I know the rule but... Stacking KK pf for 114BB's-I know the rule but...

I know the rule, but do we possibly have an excuse to fold? Action moved pretty quick and villain never hesitated to think about the 3bet or shove, all snaps. Villain 28/23 been playing pretty solid, no bluffs to speak of. No manical pf moves by him or me for that matter. I've been playing solid no tricks.

Don't fold, especially not in position.

You know the rule...

now follow it.

these threads should be locked before any responses are made imo. Doesn't even really belong in BBV unless accompanied with 4 more hands just like it

Ok, what if we were stacking for 200BB's? 300BB's? Where do we draw the line against a solid player?

BTW bsball a simple I dont agree would suffice.

I'm more or less trying to figure out where we can draw the line, if ever I guess.

Player shoves 300BB with AA does not equal solid.

200bb's is the lower limit for me, and that's against a tight player that I've never seen 4bet with less than QQ, KK, AA, or AK (metagame not a factor)

I'm stacking for 250bb, prob 300, but there would have to be a bunch of raises.

I'm not shoving 200bb over a 40bb raise.

Doesn't mean people won't do it.

I don't think I understand what you're saying here. Do you mean you'll call and trap on later streets?

by the way

28/23 isnt exactly "solid", more on te lag side. QQ possible

Of course people do. People also 4-bet with AK, QQ. Thing is we can't put 4-bettor on a range of AA alone so we call.

My point was that you were looking for a BB limit where fold is OK given player is solid. I'm saying its not solid to raise to 300BB over 40BB with AA as you fold out every hand except KK (except of course to you who folds everything except the other pair of Aces).

This isnt to be an ass but you said you know the rule, this has been beaten to death already in this forum, and you still ask if folding is okay. I dont understand why you would ask that.

I guess I don't know the rule then.

I don't lurk around a ton, although I probably should more. The rule I was referring to is "NEVER fold KK pf for 100BB's". The fact that I'm ill informed about the rest of the rule probably just means there's countless other 2+2 semi noobs out there that question these spots such as I did here. I didn't know the rule had been beaten to death in the forum, just saw it brought up once or twice. You're assuming I lurk and post as much as you which would mean I would have to know it's been beaten to death, which simply is not the case. You won't here another peep from me about this.

Gl sorry to bring negative mantra upon all of you esteemed veterans.

Pretty sure I just explained myself. I apologize for wording my original post poorly.

Not trying to start anything, seriously not. Was just curious why you thought this situation was different if you understood the concept.

And I explained through an entire paragraph as to why I didn't fully understand the rule.
