Villain is a tight aggro reg. Is this just pure spew. I figured villain had to pretty much fold everything besides sets.

It's insane, but it would work very well vs me if you were an unknown.

I agree turn isnt good... I guess i decided i was going to make a play and i believed this villain would be firing any turn... I always believed the turn was good for my range as it gave me another possible set

He's been tight, so maybe his range is medium to large pocket pairs, big aces, suited broadways. If he has QQ or 88 he will call, otherwise at best he has one pair or overcards and your bet should push him off. So this is risky, but not complete spewage.

villains will still level them selves into a call with there over pairs, because the think its only x amount of $$ to call so they end up looking it up

Need more reads than just the fact he is a TAG reg, lol. Any history? Have you been floating a lot? how often does he double barrel? triple barrel?

Two reasons for floating flop + turn:
1. He triple barrels very often with air/draws.
2. He triple barrels thinly for value and folds to resistance.

If he does #1 often, I'd be more inclined to call with A-high, particularly if I haven't been floating him often. If I had been caught floating light, I wouldn't recommend this play.

If he does both #1 and #2, this is a good play. Lots of profit will be made from this play vs a TAG regular, but don't over-do it. (The only draw that got there was 4-5)

If he plays pretty standard, and likes to pot control, then this is a VERY bad play. Regardless of what you think you can represent. He just won't fold enough for it to be profitable.
