Hand 1 - raise more OTF, you want to protect your hand and make it more expensive for drawers. I don't know how that guy called you with A8 but whatever, c/f river.
Hand 2 - Depends on stats, if you know villain is 3betting with JJ+/AK then fold pre you don't have the odds to setmine here.
Hand 3 - yes it is
Hand 4 - Yes you MUST. The villain has not shown any signs of aggression so you should bet bet bet this river because the ace is a brick for him most of the times.
Hand 5 - WTF ?! =) yeah it's ok to call with 8's but not to setmine, if you think you're ahead.

1- more on the flop. bet turn. then its an easy shove on the river. he will have lots of kx hands and 2pair hands.
2- any reads on villain? why are you donking the turn? what is your reasoning for betting? bluff? value?
3- i don't usually set mine with hands like this. but you are deep so i think its a little better.
4- bet the river to get some value. he will have a lot of hands that will call a bet. don't be afraid of big hands just because they are possible if the villain hasn't done anything to make you think he has a monster.
            5- meh.

            1. I guess I got greedy, it felt like villain's were weak so I raised smaller to get the both of them to call. I realize now that that sort of messed with the bet-sizing for later streets.
            2. forgot my reads on villain, but he was likely loose-passive. I was sort of lost on what to do, think my plan was to b/f turn and c/f river if he just called.

ok. i understand that plan. but why were you doing that? what was your intention for betting? what were you hoping to accomplish? you should always have a reason for betting? bluff? value? protection?

so you are betting less than half pot to get him to fold JJ-KK?

1 - Raise more on the flop, near pot size beat on the turn. Tough fold, I'd probably call then type "Jesus A8s on that flop?", actually I would probably fold...
2 - Villan dependent, your only getting 10-1 to set mine and I'd prefer nearer 15. I don't understand your donk on the turn, your read is he is passive yet he 3-bet and c-bet the flop. I'm inclined to C/F.
3 - I think set mining us fine given your so deep.
4 - defiantly value bet, make it something he could call though as his lack of aggression means he can't have much.
            5 - Mmmm call isn't bad.

Your read was he is passive, yet he has shown a lot of aggression by 3-betting and c-betting that flop. That A certainly hits his range, so I'm not sure donning is a good line.

I really don't know what I was thinking. I didn't want to fold turn I guess and felt a b/f line, c/f line would be better than check/call, check/fold. I realize now that the ace was a terrible card to do this on and should have just check/folded.
