Im currently focusing on sngs exclusively. ($3 9max and $5.50 18max) Playing on Global atm. Ive put in countless hours with flopzilla, hm2, and equilab. Work super hard to improve but i feel like im missing a critical fundamental in sngs.....should I lean more toward survival and cashing or be more aggro and play to win?

I'm inclined to think play to win is the right approach because of the pay jumps andbmost of your profit is from getting top places.

I used to play a lot of sngs . The format got sped up so it became less about cash type skill and more quickly into ICM .
Once you play ICM you have to shove with crap and fold to shoves with strong hands.. but nobody folds correctly in the low buyin games so you have to get lucky.
In which case you may as well get lucky sooner, then at least if you are bigstack you may get more folds later. So go for a big stack ASAP..
I'm probably wrong.. I had a massive losing streak, I couldnt fix, no matter what I did.

Aggro is better. Especially in the later stages. Shoving all-in at the 10ishBB area frequently is usually pretty good. With some opponents you'll want to shove very very wide.
