Villain is pretty unknown only 25hands. I didn't think there was much value in betting so I decided on x/c.

His betsize was pretty big so I suspected I was beat. I'm at the top of my range though. If the villain shoved I'd have folded. Any thoughts?

you should never be checking this river; checking this river is a crime against humanity

^^^ Guess someone prefer a bet/fold.

Really hard river for him to call a kx though, betting small may open you up to bluffs, but ughh then again he doesnt have many bluffs otr as his range is mostly going to be kx and flushes without other dynamic.

As played im prob folding river, u block ak, sets/2pair prob raise somewhere b4 & kx dont bomb river sooo to me it looks like a flush n little air.

Either way its a bad river cause if u bet its now essentially thin value vs a range that prob cant & shouldn't call n if u check n see a bomb i feel u have to fold personally.

A crime? I figured he's never calling with a K and it's super thin value to bet.

I checked thinking he will bluff a percentage of the time trying to rep the flush.

Not really sure what betting achieves in this spot.

If it was any other heart I would be betting but since it's the A it kinda kills my action vs the villain Kx.

I would probably c/f here, his bet is big enough.
I don't think they are bluffing with air here often enough and I don't think he is betting for "value" kx here.
What about some slowplayed lower sets we beat here? Can he have them often?

Yeah I kinda agree but x/f feels to weak for this hand under most circumstances I guess his bet sizing is the deciding factor

When there is three of a suit on the board, your opponent always has a flush clearly...

How is betting top set on the river super thin? :P TONS of worse hands call this bet

obviously fold to a raise since then it's a flush
