my amount made in the sb is -$28.43 and my amount made in bb is -$23.67

it was in the mid 30's but as ive been getting better its been going up.. do most people have a negative sb/bb? or do good players always have a postive sb/bb?

this is all from .05/.10 NL

mainly 6 max

im positive money in all other positions and my most profitable position is UTG by a longshot

Pretty sure it's standard to be losing money from the blinds.

If your most profitable position is UTG, then you're doing something wrong b/c most profitable by far should be CO/BTN (i.e. when you're IP post flop).

It cost you 0.15 every orbit @ each table b/c of the blinds and they add up a lot quicker than most people realize. Yes, you will most likely lose $$ from the blinds. Instead of looking at the absolute amt., you should look at your loss rate in terms of ptbb/hand. If you're losing less than it would cost you in the blinds then you're doing fine. Every now and then, I've seen people profitable from the SB, but it's pretty rare.

It's also hard for people to help you when you simply state how much you lost and not over X number of hands.

just wondering if you filtered for hands you actually participated in, or is this number including money lost from posting the blinds?

i didnt filter anything so im pretty sure it includes total money won or lost from that position including the posted blinds

is position 1 on poker tracker UTG.. or cutoff?

i made $64 in position 1 and $24 on button which is my second best

this is out of 10k hands and my total profit from these is $69 right now

Most likely it's just a sample size issue, 10k isn't that many hands.

Pretty sure position 1 in PokerTracker is the cutoff, yes.

Also I'm pretty sure that in the column next to the amount won, titled "Without Blind", it gives you the amount you would have won if you didn't have to post the blinds, so as long as that number is positive you probably don't have to worry about it.
