or rather a smaller bet to get calls from both fishes???

my villains are very fishy. CO has 54/4 after 50 hands and BN has 71/10 after 120 hands and some history with me in that session...
I wanted to see a lot of flops with them

PokerStars - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

MP+1: $3.71
LP: $5.80
CO: $0.92
BTN: $0.96
Hero (SB): $2.91
BB: $2.28
UTG: $0.60
UTG+1: $2.26
MP: $3.47

Hero posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero has J T

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, CO calls $0.02, BTN calls $0.02, Hero calls $0.01, BB checks

Flop: ($0.08, 4 players) T T 6
Hero bets $0.06, fold, CO calls $0.06, BTN calls $0.06

Hero bets $0.16, CO calls $0.16, BTN calls $0.16

River: ($0.74, 3 players) 9

i prefer smaller bet because fish dont like to pay the full stack, they like to keep playing even if they only got a few bb left. and its better to get a call from Ahigh / Khigh than a fold because u bettet 3bb too much.

i think: betting 3bb less on the river but getting 20% more calls > push river and getting 20% less calls

I think you should have made the turn bigger somewhere around the 20c-pot mark and then just shoved the river, but as long as you bet a minimum of 75%+ on the river I think the hand was played fine.

I can't see what they can call off their stacks with now a bunch of pairs just got counterfeited. Although not all 2NL fish understand that their 3 pairs are no good

I guess they could have 89/79: peeled the flop with a gutter and backed into a boat that they won't fold.

On this run out I'm tempted to bet small to encourage ace high to call. Or maybe even C/R if they can be spazzy and aren't just pure stations.

ok...haven't put a-high in their range...they wouldn't fold 9x in that spot no matter what they had to call...

Betting .20 on the turn would have made things easier.... I see (I now)

Also go more for value on the flop and bet closer to the pot size. Fish dont pay attention to bet sizing.

I would bet more OTT and then just shove the river because fish call with anything.

are both villains stations? if so then pot flop, pot turn, shove river.

actually thinking about it doesn't matter if they're stations or fit-or-folders. I'm probably taking the pot/pot/shove line no matter what.
