Wondering if raising the river is too thin? with the runout i was thinking that all his two pair combos got counterfit that would probably call a raise, and a flopped straight or set that filled up would have bet bigger. Interested to hear other opinions.

Too thin to raise against pot. straights and sets can definitely take that sizing pattern by a fish

You should DB or raise turn, most 2p+ will bet bigger otf or ott.

I often see recs donk betting 1BB attempting to set their cheap price for drawing, but why BTN is doing this in position... who knows.

In any case those tiny bets are very often a. attempts to cheap draws or (less frequently) b. attempts to induce a raise from the preflop raiser, hoping to 3bet the raise with whatever hand the rec consider is a "monster"

You can't let 2 opponents see the river so cheaply if you are in situation a , I would raise turn with the intention to fold to a 3bet.

I just go for a big flop c/r. If BB folds 87, that is really good for us. BTN might be trapping, but BB definitely has a lot of trash that still has a lot of equity.

I also just raise the turn for similar reasons.

I also just check-call river. His sizing indicates that he is either bluffing or very strong.

I would probably jam for the 46BB or whatever and expect to get called by almost any flopped pair or 2 pair, which fish min bet a lot. No way he's ever folding a Jack, and is never really going to have a straight or FH, so AA is basically the nuts.
